Curtis Daniel Gerner

Funeral Services for Curtis “Curt” Gerner, 90, Custer City resident will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 31, 2022, in the Primitive Baptist Church east of Canute, OK, officiated by Norman Jones. Private burial will be held in the Custer City Masonic Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Curtis Daniel Gerner was born September 7, 1932, to Philip and Otillie (Rendschmidt) Gerner in Custer City, OK and passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in Elk City, OK, to continue his work for the Lord.

Curtis’s childhood years was spent with his brother, Philip and three sisters, Louis, Marie and Eva. He attended Custer City Schools and married the love of his life, Genelle Jones on April 18, 1969.

His life was centered around farming, fishing, driving the school bus and trying to become closer to the Lord every day. He loved his family, farming and the International Tractor and of course his pet cows.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Factor, two grandchildren, Zach Renison and his wife Mindy, and Carissa Renison and four great grandchildren, Coleton, Keiton Stinson and Jayden and Kaylee Renison.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, son, Courtney Clift, and brothers and sisters.
