Graveside Services for Peggy McLaughlin, 86, Clinton resident will be held Friday in the Clinton Cemetery officiated by grandson Nolan Wade McLaughlin and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Peggy Jane McLaughlin was born June 23, 1933 to Tommy and Hattie Mae (Ketcherside) Wolfe in Coalgate, Oklahoma and passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in the Grace Living Center in Clinton, Oklahoma. Peggy started her young life in Coalgate and the family moved to Western Oklahoma when she was five years old. The family first moved to Foss and later to Clinton where she attended school. She married Edward McLaughlin January 20, 1950 in Clinton. She worked as a nurse’s aide for several years in the local nursing homes. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church; she loved to read especially the Bible and work puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers, Jackie Wolfe, Lawrence Joe Wolfe, John Henry Wolfe and William Floyd Wolfe; sisters, Floy Mae Reimer, Dorothy Pearl Adams-Murphy, Mary Jane Wolfe. She is survived by a son, Eddy McLaughlin and wife, Vanya, OKC, OK; sister, Ruby Lee Jelenick and brother, Clifford Roof and wife Phyllis, Clinton. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Brian McLaughlin, Vanessa McLaughlin and Nolan McLaughlin and wife, Abby and a great-grandson, Kingston. Registry for Peggy Joan MCLaughlin
