Funeral Services for Lueva Richardson, 80, Custer County resident will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday April 10, 2024, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Beck. The burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Putnam, OK, under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Anna Lueva Crow Richardson was born October 14, 1943, to John Crow and Betha Willoughby Crow in Ninnekah, OK and passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, in the Corn Heritage Village in Wetherford, OK.
On January 4, 1944, Lueva’s mother passed away and her father needed help and Lueva went to live with her grandmother Anna Allen Montgomery. Later she went to live with her father’s sister, Laura McKenna and her husband, Kermit, they were also known as Peggy and Dick. So, she began a new life in Butler, OK where she attended school and graduated from high school in 1961.
Through the years Lueva worked in several places including a lawyer’s office and the Collins and Aikman Carpet Factory. She made many friends while working.
She was a member of the Putnam First Christian Church, and she volunteered at the Methodist Nursing Home. She enjoyed reading, riding horses and attending various horse shows. She loved to do cookouts and spend time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by both sets of parents, John and Berth Crow and Dick and Peggy McKenna, her son, Rodney Scott Richardson, four sisters, Mary Austin, Margaret Brewer, Lahonda Abramson, and Debi Valentine, seven brothers, Milton Crow, Frankie Crow, J.C. Crow, Marvin Crow, Ray Cro, Dee Crow, and Bruce Crow.
She is survived by son, Martin Richardson and wife, Gloria, Two daughters, Pamela Elliott and her companion, John Flick, Sheri Shaw and husband, Melvin, and half-brother, Lyn Crow.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Kristina Blythe, Tara Megli and husband, Cory, Sheresha Atchley and husband, Brantley, Devin Barker, and Clayton Shaw and wife, Katie, five step grandchildren, Angel, Brandy, Candice, Joshua, and Stoney and 9 great grandchildren, 11 step great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a great number of friends, who all have meant so much to her.
