Dalen Leon Paulsen

Funeral Services for Dalen Paulsen, 25, Canute resident will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Bobby Stewart and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Dalen Leon Paulsen was born March 2, 1999, to Virginia Paulsen in Denver, CO and passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, in his Canute home.

Dalen was raised in Clinton school in Clinton and later transferred to Pryor, OK and graduated from Thunderbird Military Academy in 2016. He was an honor graduate and was in the top 10 percent of his class. He also attended Vo-tech school and received his certificate in small engine repair.

After his graduation he returned to Clinton, OK and worked as a diesel mechanic and worked in the oilfield. He liked doing auto-mechanic for others and himself on the side and considered that to be one of his hobbies.

He was all about spending time with family and friends. He loved to grill out and cook for others. He was always up for trying new things and was well known for cooking and serving things unknown to some. He enjoyed the outdoors and going fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Thomas, Canute, mother, Virginia Florer and husband, John, Clinton, three sisters, Lillie Teeter, Foss, OK, Raelea Lampshire and husband, Will, Cordell, OK Shanna Taylor and husband, Mikey, Clinton, OK, four brothers, Blake Paulsen, Clinton, OK, Taylor Doucet, Weatherford, Lance Teeter, Foss, OK and Hunter Lindsey and wife, Belen, Clinton, OK.

He is also survived by grandparents, Nana, Linda Paulsen, Clinton, OK, John and Donna Florer, Guthrie, OK and adopted grandmother, Rose Ann Davis, Clinton, OK.
