Elizabeth (Chapman) Daley, 38, Clinton resident passed away very unexpectedly Friday, April 7, 2023, in the Weatherford Regional Hospital in Weatherford, OK. She was born Elizabeth Anne Chapman on December 1, 1984, to Gary D. Chapman and Karen L. (Wallace) Chapman in Clinton, OK.
Visitation will be held 8:00 am till 8:00 pm, Friday, April 14th and Saturday, April 15th, 2023, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel in Clinton, OK. The memorial service will be held Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Clinton Church of Christ, officiated by Pat Peters.
Elizabeth was raised in Clinton where she attended and graduated from Clinton High School in 2003. She continued her education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and in 2020 received a degree with honors in Criminal Justice.
She married the love of her life, Jermey Daley, on December 08, 2012, in Clinton, OK and he preceded her in death in December 2022, results of a trucking accident.
She loved children and had an in-home day-care center for several years. She was also employed with Oklahoma Prisons both in Hinton and El Reno, OK. She most recently worked for BiosKids in Norman, OK, which supports kids with special needs.
She is a member of the Clinton Church of Christ, her passion was spending time with children, and she enjoyed traveling with her family on road trips and cruises, and trying new foods. She also loved to go to Disney World, explore old cemeteries and “Shiva”, (a family saying) with Mischele, Ciara and Carly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jermey, paternal grandpa, Ray McCarther, maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Audie Wallce and a childhood friend, Jeremy McDow.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ciara Mathews and Brynlee Mathews and two sons, Jaxen Mathews and Logan Daley, all of the home, parents Gary and Karen Chapman, two sisters, Mischele Scott, and Latasha Goodman and husband Jason, and brother Christopher, all of Clinton.
She is also survived by her paternal grandma Betty McCarther, Clinton and her maternal grandmother, Betty Williams, OKC, OK.
