Garland Eugene Brown, 54, Clinton resident, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 in the Oklahoma University Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Garland was born August 11, 1966 to Theodoris Randle and Donald Ray Brown in Houston, TX. At this time no service has been scheduled. He was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1984. He worked at the Clinton Public Swimming Pool as a life Guard while in high school. He continued his education at Rose State College and received his Licensed Practical Nurses Certificate and later attended Oklahoma State University Technical School and received his Master’s Degree in Health Science and Registered Nurses Degree. He had been employed with Mike’s Medical, Willow Park Nursing Home in Lawton, OK and he worked for Mary Kay in her facility in Dallas, TX. He is a member of the Host Ministries Church; he enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, going to the casino and hanging out with his brothers. He is preceded in death by his father, grandmother, Lilly Belle Randle and grandfather, Ervin Randle, Sr. and step father Salomon Reed. He is survived by his mother, Theodoris Reed, Clinton; Graylon Hurd, Jerome Hurd and Kim, Clinton and Bobby Earl Davis, Jr., Clinton.
