Funeral Services for Raymond “Red” Stonecalf, Jr., 74, Clinton resident will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the Emergency Response Center (Indian Community Building), officiated by Woodrow Kinney, Donnie Ahhaitty and Toni Ruiz. Burial will follow in the Clinton Indian Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. A traditional wake service will be held 6:00 till 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 8, 2022 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel Raymond L. “Red” Stonecalf, Jr., was born March 17, 1947, to Raymond L. Stonecalf and Eldine (Fire) Stonecalf in Clinton, OK and passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, in the Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. “Red” as he is known by family and friends was raised and attended school in Clinton. Soon after his schooling he enlisted in the U.S. Marines where he served both in Korea and Vietnam. After being honorably discharged, he returned to Oklahoma and worked both at the Riverside Indian School and Concho Indian School assisting with the young men and coaching. He retired after 29 years of service. He also worked in the Cheyenne and Arapaho Smoke Shop. He was a member of the Indian Baptist Church in El Reno, OK, he enjoyed traveling, watching basketball and was always available to help somebody out. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Gary Stonecalf, Carl Stonecalf and Tim Stonecalf and a sister Geneva Stonecalf. He is survived by daughter, Nicole Cobb, Lawton, OK, his longtime companion and friend, Lois Franklin, OKC, OK; four sisters, Wanda Morgan, Sherrill Stonecalf both of Clinton, OK and Janice Salehi and Ranell Wilson, both of El Reno, OK. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Logan Milne, Moira Stobbe and Isabella Appel: three great grandchildren, Illiana Milne, Anais Milne and Kai Stonecalf-Stobbe.
