Robert Walter Watkins

Robert Walter Watkins, aged 71, of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on December 21, 2025.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Clinton Cemetery, located on south 28th Street, Clinton, OK 73601.

Born on January 17, 1954, in Altus, Oklahoma, Bob was the son of Roy and Margaret (Tinney) Watkins. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps on June 12, 1972. Bob was honorably discharged on April 17, 1974, and was a Vietnam Veteran. During his military service, he was recognized with several honors, including the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Pistol Marksmanship Badge, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge, and Good Conduct Medals.

On September 18, 1992, Bob married Rebecca Greene in Carrollton, Texas, and together they built their home in Clinton.

Bob is survived by son, Jeremiah Watkins and wife Stephanie of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Chelsea Edmonds and husband James of Russell Springs, KY, Megan Robbins of Columbia, KY; sister, Pansy Watkins; and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Margaret Watkins; wife, Rebecca Watkins; sister, Charlene; and brother, Michael.
