Roberta L Browning

Roberta L. Browning, age 78, of Clinton, OK, passed away April 15, 2026, in Oklahoma City. She was born June 14, 1947, in Clinton, OK, to Robert and Bessie (Morgan) Reimer.

Roberta had a gift for creating beauty wherever she went. She tended her flower garden with care, finding joy in every bloom. Inside her home, she was an immaculate decorator, especially at Christmastime, when she transformed each room into something magical.

She was an exceptional cook, known best for her beloved banana split cake—a family favorite that will be remembered and missed. Above all, Roberta cherished her family. They were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.

Roberta enjoyed art and especially loved drawing. She also had a deep affection for animals. Her dog, Rex, held a special place in her heart; he was her “big baby,” and she adored him.

Roberta’s warmth, creativity, and devotion to those she loved leaves a lasting legacy. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She is survived by her son, Jimmy Dolphis Browning II and Heather Rowe, of Colorado Springs, CO; daughters, Elizabeth Stephenson and husband Scott, of Cordell, OK and Amanda Ann Browning of Cordell, OK; sister, Joyce McReynolds of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Jerimiah, Ethan, Josh, Jacob, Zoe, Levi, Marc, Trevin; great grandson, Grayson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bessie Reimer; husband, Jim D Browning; son, Marc Ellis Browning; sisters, Wanda Travis and Martha Jean Reimer.
