Clinton

William Clark Billingsley III was born on June 4, 1968, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, to William Clark Billingsley II and Dara Diann (Maupin) Ornelas. He passed away at his home on October 18, 2026, surrounded by his family.

William attended Amarillo schools and enjoyed the things that made life special to him. He had a deep love for rock music, with AC/DC and KISS among his favorites. He also enjoyed songs like “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” and “Summer of ’69.” Music was one of the many things that brought him joy throughout his life.

Family was especially important to William, and he treasured the time he spent with those he loved. He also enjoyed attending car shows, often going with his brother in law, Juan and his 1980 Corvette, which was a source of pride and enjoyment for him.

William had a sweet tooth and a special talent for cooking and baking. He especially loved chocolate and brownies, and he enjoyed sharing his love of food with others. When it came to football, he proudly cheered for his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners.

William will be remembered for his love of family, his favorite music, his passion for cars, and the simple pleasures that brought happiness to his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Clark Billingsley II, and his brother, Robert Billingsley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Dara Diann Ornelas; his two brothers, Michael Billingsley and Joseph Scolavino; and his four sisters, Carrie Shack, Lisa Cordova, Karen Aguilar, and Sonia Moncado. He will also be remembered with love by his extended family and all who held him dear.
