Scotty Joe Scuggins

Scotty Joe Scuggins, age 69, of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away on October 24, 2025, at the OU Medical Center in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Born on September 25, 1956, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Jess and Joanna (Wirklife) Scuggins, Scotty was a proud Marine who enlisted in 1975. He will be honored with a full military honor, provided by the United States Marines, reflecting his dedication and commitment to his country.

Throughout his life, Scotty embraced a variety of hobbies that brought him joy, including craft painting and Bingo. He was an avid sports fan, with a particular passion for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Additionally, Scotty cherished attending OU games, shopping excursions, and the State Fair, always eager to partake in any outing that allowed him to connect with friends.

He is survived by his daughter April Marie Scuggins and preceded in death by his brother Sammie Scuggins.

A funeral service in celebration of Scotty's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Randy Kiesau Chapel, located in Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home, 2500 W Modelle Ave, Clinton, Oklahoma.

Scotty's warm spirit and enthusiasm for life will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
